SIM Card Supplementary duty increased by 10% (Notice)! Mobile budget and internet costs have increased since the current year’s budget.
Earlier, the government had to charge Tk 22 for Tk 100. And in the current budget, a charge of Tk 100 will be 27 Taka a little more.
The most popular mobile operator Grameenphone, The GP has given notice on their website after the passage of this budget.
After the presentation of the budget on the 13th Jun 2019, the new supplementary duty has been introduced on the mobile phone operator since that day.

Notice: Supplementary duty for mobile services provided by mobile phone SIM card has been set at 10%. (This is Grameenphone’s notice)
It is being informed to Grameenphone’s respected subscribers that as per the National Board of Revenue, from June 13, 2019, supplementary duty for mobile services provided by mobile phone SIM card has been set at 10%. As a result, total duty for voice services will be 27.5 percent and 16.5 percent for Internet services.
